Infinite Communities has announced the much-anticipated Kalayaan 2024 celebration, marking the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day, to be held in Dubai on June 9th. The event, slated to run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dubai World Trade Center, promises a lively amalgamation of entertainment and cultural showcases.

Co-presented by Emirates Loves Philippines for the third consecutive year and The Filipino Channel, the celebration is expected to draw a significant crowd, continuing its tradition as one of the world's largest Filipino migrant community celebrations.

"This annual extravaganza has evolved into a symbol of unity, talent, and diversity," stated Infinite Communities. "The 2023 edition attracted an estimated 30,000 footfall from across the UAE and beyond, solidifying its position as a monumental celebration."

The highlight of this year's festivities will include performances by two renowned ABS-CBN stars, Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, as announced by Joseph Arnie Garcia, Managing Director of ABS-CBN EMEA.

Furthermore, the occasion holds additional significance as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and the Philippines. Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Alfonso Ferdinand Ver urged Filipinos to partake in the festivities, emphasizing the importance of this dual celebration.

As preparations gear up, Filipino community groups, private sectors, businesses, and educational institutions are set to contribute to the success of Kalayaan 2024. Elena Cruz, founder and CEO of Infinite Communities, expressed pride in the collaborative effort behind the event.

"The Kalayaan celebration is our pride and joy, an epic production created by the community, for the community," Cruz remarked.

Community champion Josie Conlu echoed this sentiment, stating, "This year’s event promises to be an even grander spectacle, showcasing more talent, more diversity, and a richer tapestry of Filipino culture, fostering unity and camaraderie among the community."

Admission to Kalayaan 2024 is free, welcoming all to join in the jubilant celebration of Filipino heritage and independence.
