Los Angeles is gearing up for a vibrant celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence Day with a grand festival scheduled for June 9, 2024. The festivities will kick off with a parade assembly at 8:00 AM at Dodger Stadium, followed by the festival itself at LADMC Grounds from 10:00 AM onwards. This year's Independence Day celebration promises an array of exciting activities including a grand parade, a variety of food and merchandise booths, live entertainment, and the chance to meet surprise guests. The event is designed to showcase the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines and is expected to draw a large crowd of both Filipinos and enthusiasts of Philippine culture from across the Los Angeles area.
The event is organized by the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA) with the cooperation of USAPAN, a dialogue platform. The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles has thrown its support behind the festival, ensuring that the occasion will be a memorable one.
