Galileo Balitaan, a Filipino resident in Abu Dhabi, clinched the grand prize of a brand-new Maserati Ghibli during the April 3 Big Ticket live draw. Balitaan, who has been participating in the Big Ticket raffle for five years, opted for the Dream Car ticket this time around, purchased from the in-store counter at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Expressing his elation, Balitaan shared his plans to utilize the cash from selling the car for his children's higher education expenses. With two older kids heading to college this year and a younger one soon to follow, Balitaan sees the win as a means to secure a brighter future for his family.
The draw marked the final one before a temporary pause in operations, announced on April 1 in compliance with UAE regulatory gaming requirements. Balitaan's win highlights the diversity of participants in the Big Ticket draws and their aspirations for a better tomorrow.
